Sophie Ryan has been a part of Upstage Productions from the start and was part of the Upstage Productions executive and creative team and has been involved in a number of the company’s productions. Her work with Upstage includes performances in Arsenic & Old Lace (2022) and The Importance of Being Earnest (2023), where she appeared as Elaine and Lady Bracknell respectively.

Sophie has also performed in several productions with other theatre groups, including Animal Farm (2019), Seussical Jr (2018), and Peter Pan (2016). Her involvement in theatre began during her school years and continued through her time with the Campion College Theatre Society.

Alongside performing, Sophie enjoys contributing to the creative and organisational side of theatre and values the collaborative process that brings stage productions to life.
