Upstage Productions is a Sydney-based theatre group founded in 2022.

We began as a group of friends who believed great stories deserve to be told well. Since then, we’ve reimagined classic plays including Arsenic & Old Lace, The Importance of Being Earnest, An Ideal Husband, and Rope, alongside debuting our critically acclaimed original Australian work, Bunyip Barons.

We operate entirely on volunteer energy — actors, directors, designers, and crew working together to bring bold, thoughtful theatre to life. Whether staging a classic or developing new work, we’re committed to creating productions that are imaginative, accessible, and full of heart.
