Marie Yeo is an active member of Upstage Productions and currently serves as Secretary on the company’s executive team. She has been involved with Upstage since its early productions, contributing to acting, organisation and backstage coordination of shows including Arsenic & Old Lace (2022), The Importance of Being Earnest (2023), and Rope (2025) & Bunyip Barons (2025).

Marie has a background in music and performance and has been involved in a variety of theatrical productions beyond Upstage, including Roger Gimblett’s The Star Child, Fr O’Neill’s Cappy, and A. A. Milne’s The Man in the Bowler Hat. Her experience also includes musical theatre productions such as Les Misérables, Oliver!, and The King and I.

A former student of the Sydney Conservatorium, Marie has training in operatic stage performance and Baroque dance. She enjoys supporting the creative process behind the scenes and helping foster a vibrant space for the performing arts within the Upstage community.
