KRISTIN PLACKO
Kristin Placko is a graduate of The University of Notre Dame Australia, where she studied theatre, education, and theology. Her love of performance began early and has led to involvement in a wide range of productions across theatre and musical theatre.
Over the years she has appeared in productions such as Chicago, The Wiz, ’Allo ’Allo, and other stage projects both in Australia and abroad. With Upstage Productions, she performed in An Ideal Husband (2024) and played the lead role of Louisa Anne Meredith in Upstage’s first original production, Bunyip Barons (2025).
Alongside her stage work, Kristin creates comedic skits and character performances for her YouTube channel, “dear kristin,” where she regularly brings a variety of original characters to life. She is also a mother and enjoys balancing family life with her creative work and love of storytelling.
